The Urgency of Connection: Small Interactions, Huge Rewards

Leading in the world today can be soul-sucking. Disconnection from one another, frustration with the current social and business climate, and uncertainty about economics cause our team members to be isolated, uninspired, and running on fumes. Folks end up working in isolation, with little to no peer support or leadership input.  Instead of planned and procedural help, they get reactionary or knee-jerk reactions.

At the same time, leaders are expected to do more with less while remaining positive, balanced, and super-charged. We try to be compassionate, but our operations are so complex, while staff and clients are ever-more demanding. Treats in the mailbox and Jeans-Fridays don’t carry the weight they used to, and our budgets are strapped, so what can we do to create a first-class workplace that people don’t want to leave?

In a world where people are breaking quietly, Jennifer Eisenreich teaches audiences how to be the ones who notice, who care, and who show up. When we learn to spot the stories each person carries with them and allow them to be seen and heard, they will walk with you on any journey.

Jennifer has been there. Leading hundreds of staff and thousands of clients for over 25 years, she learned how the power of connection lightened the load and how seeing the stories created communities who cared.

“The Urgency for Connection: Small Interactions, Huge Rewards” is a talk that shimmers with content and delight. Engaging and actionable, Jennfer weaves some unexpected (G-rated) F-words into stories from the trenches, her life-changing moments with Mr. Rogers, and heart-stopping stories the audience will never forget. An engaging performer who commands the stage with warmth and energy, Jennifer will move even the most stoic audiences to action. Participants leave feeling connected to themselves and the world, armed with simple, high-impact strategies they can implement immediately so they can begin to create a workplace people never want to leave.
